Lemuria. Madagascar 2019
The work is about the lost land of lemuria. Time traveling and how we can learn from past mistakes. I wanted to see if I could sing with the Indri lemurs, and ask them about their lost land.
Like ghosts the Indri lemurs where Floating through the canopy of the trees, their bodies growing to twice their size, and this strange song or call resonating through the jungle.
LEMURIA
According to the prophecies of the theosof Mrs.H. P. Blavatsky,
there once was a land called Lemuria.
It was destroyed by volcanic fires, today most of its land now lies under the sea.
Blavatsky speaks of "the destruction of 'Lemuria' by underground fires" (volcanoes) that caused the continent to sink.The vast continent that had once ruled the Indian, Atlantic and Pacific oceans now consisted of huge islands that gradually disappeared one after another.
Madagascar is the last remnants of Lemuria
the Indri lemurs living there the last descendents.
Local legends discribe the Indris as being half ghost, half man.
They can jump between these worlds, as they like.

Lemurian spirits
Through the spirit-box I sang to awaken the spirit of the ancient forest of the land of Lemuria.

We are In the middle of Lemuria
In the long lost land, in the halls of l emuria
Invisible to man
we Inaudible unseeable to them
As they call the sun up,
The bridge between worlds
Why are we so unattached to the earth? What being would destroy its own nest?
We must be lost in worlds
Oh holy being half man, half ghost
I am asking you ghost to ghost
for the song of the bridge, so we can find home
